• Extorting elves

Submitted by Steven on 4/1/2010 9:38 AM

I recall as a child hearing the story about the cobbler whose work was being completed by elves overnight. Noticing how my work desk would shift every night I figured that the elves were visiting and maybe they could do some of my work as well. It worked out great for a couple of days. Then I placed some bite size Butterfingers in a bowl for my coworkers to share. Over the next couple of days I noticed wrappers all over my desk and my work incomplete. There was a note: Leave more Butterfingers or we tell your boss. I am not supporting elves with a 12 Butterfinger a night habit.
