As a police officer I have taken lots of theft reports. But this report is different because I am the victim. While on duty, I hid my butterfinger in my handcuff case. When I went to get my handcuffs all I found was the wrapper. I have taken the wrapper to the crime lab to dust for prints. The chocolate-covered wafer cookie, with a Butterfinger-flavored cream, was removed from its wrapper and the wrapper licked clean. The mouth watering taste means DNA can be found. A ransom note was left but the price said, "immeasurable." Remember, I always catch the criminal.
