• Of Icarus and Ickiness

Woe unto me the bitter loss of my dear sweet Butterfinger. Yesterday I wept for joy when I took you home from the store. I thought of you all night as I lay in the darkness...your succulent sweetness covered by such happy bright packaging. When I woke, the yellow sun immediately reminded me of the joy that was to be ours today. I yearned for lunch time to come so that we could be together! When noon finally came, and I sought you out to no avail! I frantically searched for you! Suddenly my heart sank as I remembered you last sitting upon the dashboard of my car. Melted now...but not forgotten.
