Pilfering patient

As an emergency room physician, food is scarce. We eat when we can. I had just grabbed a Butterfinger when a patient with severe abdominal pain came in. I laid my Butterfinger on the table in his room as I was talking to him. Every time I thought he was OK and I turned to look at the table he would start screaming and wailing and waving his arms around. After several episodes of this I realized he was bumping the table to move my Butterfinger closer to him. He had a stomach ache from stealing and eating all his friend's Butterfingers. We pumped his stomach and sent him home.
