I was eating lunch at a local park on a particularly warm, sunny March day here in Minnesota. There were plenty of joggers out enjoying the warm air. Some were passing rather close to the picnic table where I sat with my lunch laid out. I was so busy watching them to make sure none of them laid a finger on my Butterfinger that I didn't see the chimpanzee swing out of the trees to snag it until it was too late! He was gone again before I could do anything about it, and no amount of offering to trade my banana for crispity, crunchity goodness would convince him to part with what he'd stolen.
