The Disappearing Butterfinger

I was the last one in the room before leaving the meeting..., I pulled out my Butterfinger as I had a craving for chocolate. I took a bite and laid it down on a desk to answer my cell phone. It was my best friend asking me to stop at the store to pick her up some milk on the way home for her children. I told her, "no problem" and I would see soon. I went to pick up my Butterfinger and it had disappeared? I couldn't figure out where on earth it could have gone??? I looked all over the room for it? What I forgot was while I was on the phone, I laid the rest of the candy bar in my purse.
