• The long and winding road...

Submitted by Andy S on 4/1/2010 4:13 PM

It was a December night in Michigan. My weekend trip to visit my girlfriend, Jackie, had come to a close. A 2-hour drive along the icy, deer filled roads loomed before me. I knew I would need something to keep my strength up along the way. I packed my Butterfinger in the outer pocket of my bag, to eat on the drive. I gathered my things and said good-bye. Soon, the time had come to enjoy my crunchy companion. It may have taken my last few coins, but I had no regrets. There in the pocket of my bag, I found a note, "Thanks! I love Butterfinger! Love, Jackie." I made it home alive, but hungry.
